Bat Removal Prohibitions End

bats behind shutterToday, July 31, is the last day of the prohibition of the exclusion of bat colonies for this summer.

As noted in the May post EARLY SEASON BATS bat removal of suspected maternal colonies are not allowed in the heart of the summer.  This gives baby bats time to grow up and be able to fly and hunt on their own.  This helps protect the bat population as their numbers are at historical lows.

As this clip of Ohio’s nuisance animal removal shows, July 31 is an important date for all bat removers to be aware of.  On August 1, tomorrow, things get back to normal.

So, this is a great time to contact Frontline Animal Removal and get on the schedule.
